Founded in 2002 by Tim Eifert and Jaime VanDenBrock, Priority Massage and Health brings a team of London’s brightest health care professionals under one roof.

It’s a given that each member of our team is accredited in his, or her, respective field, but our staff brings more to the table than just a certificate or degree. From competitive athletic training to post-graduate education in complementary fields, our breadth of experience has led us to take a holistic approach to healthcare.

Jaime VanDenBrock - Registered Massage Therapist, Clinic Owner

Born and raised in Tillsonburg, Ontario, Jaime VanDenBrock spent most of her childhood in the pool, training as a competitive swimmer. This training helped foster an early appreciation for complementary therapies in general, and massage therapy in particular.

In 1997 Jaime enrolled in the massage therapy program at Sault College of Applied Arts and Technology. She graduated with honours in 2000 and, together with her husband Tim Eifert, founded Priority Massage and Health in 2002.

A passion for learning led Jaime to pursue post-graduate training in Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release and Ultrasound Therapy. In 2006, following an intensive teacher training in Thailand, she became a qualified yoga instructor. In 2014, Jaime completed studies in essential oils and is now a Certified Aromatherapy Health Professional and is a member of the Canadian Federation of Aromatherapists. She is thrilled to offer aromatherapy products and provide private consultations to all clients and patients of Priority Massage and Health.

Jaime loves being a massage therapist, and is honoured to help others lead a healthier, more relaxed life. While she treats all kinds of conditions, Jaime takes a special interest in helping those who suffer from headaches and migraines, stress, insomnia and chronic pain.

Tim Eifert - B.H.Sc., Registered Massage Therapist, Clinic Owner

Born and raised in Stratford, Ontario, Tim graduated from London’s D’arcy Lane Institute in 2000.  Following graduation, Tim began his massage therapy career in Windsor, Ontario, at a busy chiropractic rehabilitation centre, where he became adept at orthopedic assessment.

Tim returned to London in 2001 to start up his own private practice, and in 2002 opened Priority Massage and Health with his wife Jaime. While running the clinic, Tim resumed his studies to reinforce his knowledge in anatomy, physiology and nutrition, receiving a degree in Health Sciences from the University of Western Ontario in 2006.

Tim uses his orthopedic background to assess and design effective treatment strategies for sports, repetitive stress and work-related injuries. As an athlete who plays competitive baseball and hockey, Tim particularly enjoys working with elite athletes, at the varsity and professional levels, to enhance their performance and rehabilitate from injury.

David Cousins - Registered Massage Therapist

David Cousins is a graduate from London’s D'Arcy Lane Institute of Massage Therapy and has been a practicing therapist since 2001.

As a former pro beach volleyball player,  David understands how strenuous, repetitive activity can have a negative effect on the body. He brings this experience, together with his knowledge of active release and deep tissue massage, as he counsels his clients on effective treatment of their sports-related injuries.

David regularly donates his time as a massage therapist to such causes as Sick Kids Hospital, Run for Retina and Walk for Life. His personal interests include beach volleyball (he runs the Beach Volleyball Academy), weight training, golf and watching movies.

Kira Lawson, BSc. Registered Massage Therapist.

Kira was born in London Ontario. After completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Health and Performance at the University of Louisville, Kira spent her summers fighting forest fires for five seasons with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources.

After many years of being a competitive rower and weightlifter Kira’s interest in athletic injuries was piqued after experiencing her own repetitive strain injuries . Kira became very interested in the role manual therapy has on movement quality and patterns, as well as rehabilitating muscles and soft tissue. Feeling the positive effect massage therapy as well as other manual therapies had on her own athletic performance, Kira went back home to London to attend D’Arcy Lane Institute and graduated in May 2017.

Kira is excited to provide care to all people with a particular interest in athletes to help her clients maintain an active and pain free lifestyle allowing them to participate in the activities they enjoy.

Dr. Kristina Kastelanac - BHSc. (Hon.), Reiki Master, N.D.

Kristina Kastelanac completed an honours Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences at the University of Western Ontario in 2005. She continued with an intensive, 4 year, post graduate education at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto. Here she completed a one year internship at the Robert Shad Naturopathic Clinic, after which she graduated as a Naturopathic Doctor.

With a strong foundation in the biomedical understanding of the human body, Kristina has also expanded her knowledge to the realm of energetic medicine. She began practicing Reiki in 2006, and has since become a certified Reiki Master. She has been teaching Reiki to naturopaths and to the general public since 2008. Kristina has continued to build her intuitive skills by completing a yearlong program in Medical Intuition.

She has received extensive trauma healing training and will receive her Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) title in October 2016.

She is a registered member of the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO), the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND), and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).

Kristina has additional training as a Naturopathic Doula assisting with the birthing process and is a member of the Association of Perinatal Naturopathic Doctors (APND).

Kristina has a keen interest in women’s health, fertility, hormone balancing, digestive issues, depression, anxiety and trauma. As a Naturopathic Doctor, Kristina’s goal is to treat the whole person, while addressing the root cause of disharmony within the individual. She does this by exploring the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of a person’s health. Kristina uses acupuncture, herbal medicine, homeopathic remedies and nutritional and life style counselling, medical intuition and somatic experiencing in a holistic approach to health. Her goal is to work with people and to help guide and empower them to live a more balanced and healthier life.

These principles have evolved over decades through the treatment of hundreds of thousands of clients and has solid research support.

Dr. Richard Vuksinic, ND

Dr. Vuksinic was influenced by the rhythms of a holistic lifestyle at an early age. After graduating with an honours B.A. from McMaster University in 1999, Dr. Vuksinic traveled extensively throughout North America, Europe, Asia and Central America. These travels were a self-directed education in the healing practices and philosophies of various traditional cultures. His travels ignited a passion to blend, in his own healing practice, the wisdom of traditional medicine with the scientific foundation of western medicine. In 2005, this led Dr. V to the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, Ontario, where he graduated as a doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. As part of a 4-year program at CCNM he completed a 1-year internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic in Toronto. He also gained inspiration in working with Natural Doctors International, an NGO that brings free Naturopathic health care to under-served communities in Nicaragua (2008 & 2009).

In practice, he employs all of the core naturopathic modalities (Acupuncture, Herbal and Homeopathic medicine, nutritional and lifestyle counseling) along with Somatic Experiencing to address the full dynamic of individualized health care: the mental, emotional and physical.

Dr. Vuksinic is a registered naturopathic doctor in good standing with the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors.

A Personal Note From Richard:

I enjoy a family practice, where I apply the tools of naturopathy from both an evidenced based and bio-energetic perspective. My goal in applying the art and practice of naturopathy to the treatment of the individual, is to blend evidence and intuition, bio-chemistry and bio-energetics, Reason and Nature. I aim to bring a balanced approach to my practise and to meet the needs of my patients. This means working with you and all of your health care providers.

Outside of my clinical practice, I am a passionate teacher and lecturer. Since moving to London in 2009, I have hosted a number of workshops and lectures pertaining to naturopathic healthcare and plant medicines. Apart from my work as an ND I am also inspired by travel, permaculture principles, deep nature connection, hockey and my family.
